The Rainbow Forest Marlins swim team is a growing, tight knit team of swimmers, parents and coaches. Because of our size, each swimmer is assured the opportunity to compete in every meet they desire. Our older swimmers often assist the coaches and work hands on with younger swimmers, enabling the young ones the chance to improve their stroke with one-on-one interaction, and the older swimmers an opportunity to mentor others. We resonate with team spirit; a positive, competitive nature; and the drive to push ourselves to surpass our limits. Oh, and we also like to have FUN!

Coach Jesse has grown up in the water as a competitive swimmer with local LAL, high school and college teams. She has coached at the year-round level, and is entering her third season with the Marlins program. She does all of this while also serving as an intelligence specialist in the US Navy Reserves.
This is Coach Sidney’s second year with the Marlins. She recently graduated nursing school from the University of North Dakota. She is also a former LAL summer swimmer. In fact, she and Coach Jesse were teammates, just a few years ago.
We are happy to have them bring that winning teammate dynamic into their coaching roles and look forward to a great season!
Join the Team
Kids, ages 5-18, who can complete one lap of the pool swimming freestyle may join the swim team. Swim Team dues are $100 for the first swimmer, $90 for the second, $80 for the third. Dues cover the LAL registration fee, 10 weeks of practice and meets, participation in weekly team spirit activities, and a team shirt and team swim cap.
** LAL rules state that all swimmers must have a Rainbow Forest pool membership.
We also have a Mini Marlins Training Team open to children as young as 3 years old. The program provides swim training at varying skill levels, from basic water adjustment to improving stroke technique and learning dives.
